BIO

Nancy Loesch Rotzetter has appeared as an operatic and concert soloist in leading venues nationwide, including Carnegie Hall in New York City. Her favorite operatic roles include Cleopatra in Handel's Julius Caesar, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro, Pamina and Papagena in The Magic Flute, and Despina in Così fan tutte.

Recent performances include appearing as a guest artist at Centre le Phénix in Fribourg, Switzerland, The Town of Oyster Bay Distinguished Artists Series, The Collegiate Singers, The Riverside Opera Company, the Three Mo' Tenors in Palm Springs, California, and West Virginia, Lincoln Center's Meet the Artist program, and a television appearance on ABC's Good Morning America with Andrea Bocelli.

Equally at home performing the world's great oratorios, Ms. Loesch has garnered high praise for solo appearances in Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, The Creation, Mass in the Time of War, Mozart's Requiem, Missa Brevis in B flat, & Vesperae Solennes de Confessore.

In appearances in Santa Fe Pro Musica's A Baroque Christmas, she was praised by the Albuquerque Journal as "a young singer with a clear, bright, attractive soprano" who " projected the text with a pure, warm, unforced sound."

Also known for her exceptional musical abilities, Ms. Loesch has premiered works by noted contemporary composers, including Seymour Barab, Victor Kioulaphides, Gerald Ginsburg, Martin Halpern, Larry Alan Smith, Melissa Shiflett, and Nicholas Anthony Ascioti. She made her Merkin Concert Hall debut in New York City, singing the world premiere of Born as a Child by Seymour Barab and Kurt Vonnegut.
